Here you have just one example of the diversity of Powell & Co Ltd, working in conjunction with Charlie Dimmock’s “Garden army” helping to turn a community’s dreams into reality by constructing a communal park for all to enjoy.
           
With a team of volunteers, this waste land was turned into a safe haven for the local community. The Powell & Co construction design team designed three stunning pergolas to compliment the overall park theme of the Taj Mahal.

Once the initial design stage was completed, the plans were forwarded to our workshop, where our experienced team of carpenters turned dreams into reality. The pergolas were then hand-crafted from hard wood Mahogany, complete with hand carved decorative cornice.

With the stanchions in place, the carved decorative cornice was attached.
Once the roof carpentry was in place, a specifically designed plastic board roof was attached, giving the local community an elegant, hand-crafted seating area.

Powell & Co construction support local community projects and undertook this project free of charge.
