This site was designed and constructed to the highest specification meeting the customer’s individual requirements.
As you can see from the pictures below, the site consists of five buildings with an 85m long and 10m wide link room.

For infection control and hygiene purposes, there is only one entrance into these buildings which is through the amenity block.

Once inside the amenity block, you have the staff canteen, packing area, storage area and staff shower block. To gain access to the remainder of the building, you must first enter the shower block (which is complete with a locking mechanism designed by Powell & Co).

Once disinfected, you have access to the operational components of the buildings.

There is a purpose built, elevated glass viewing area within the link room, which has an external entrance giving purchase-managers the opportunity to view how the site operates without the need to disinfect.

You access this area by a galvanised steel staircase which, once again was designed and constructed by Powell & Co construction as a bespoke add-on.

The buildings were constructed using a steel clear span frame complete with a fire retardant 100mm thick Rock-wool core composite panel.

Powell & Co also designed, fabricated and erected the timber frame, three bedroom bungalow which sits adjacent to the site, as seen in the gallery below.
