Free Range Unit

T Swift & Son, Staffordshire

In 2018 Emma and her brother John commissioned Powell & Co to build a free-range poultry unit to house 16,000 layers.  The flock of Boven Browns have the highest production in the area with an average of 15,000 eggs a day supplied to Noble Foods.

The 266ft x 65ft steel-framed building has been designed and constructed to future proof the building and accommodate an extension to increase to 32,000 layers.
