FETF Grant Funding Available
The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 offers three grant schemes to English farmers and contractors: Productivity, Slurry Management, and Animal Health and Welfare. Each grant application must be between £1,000 and £25,000. You can apply for one grant per theme.
Productivity: Grants to help improve farm efficiency and output.
Slurry Management: Grants to aid in the proper handling and application of slurry.
Animal Health and Welfare: Grants to support the well-being and health of livestock.
Poultry:
- Automatic curtain system for poultry housing
- Split-feed poultry feed system
- Blinds for livestock housing
- Chimney ventilation units
- Loading bay tunnel for poultry units
- Boot disinfection system
- Automatic monitoring system for poultry housing
- Automatic poultry weigh scale
- Feed bin weighing system
- Poultry perches / Broiler perches
- Enrichment feeders
- Nipple drinker system
- Housing platforms and ramps
- Spin feeders
NB. Grants are only available if you farm chickens.
Cattle:
- Calving gate
- Automatic cattle weighing unit
- Perimeter fencing
- Flexible cubicle dividers
- Outdoor calf accommodation
- Positive pressure tube ventilation system
- Blinds for livestock housing
- High-volume low-speed ventilation fan
- Vermin-proof portable feed storage
- Mobile livestock shade
- Sheeted gates
The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will cover 50% of either:
- The average cost of the item (if it costs that much or more)
- The actual cost paid (if it’s less than the listed average)
The window to apply for these grants is 29 May – 10 July 2025.
