Agricultural Storage Shed, Worcestershire
Richard and Sarah Pinfield are established livestock farmers based near Bromsgrove, managing a successful mixed farming enterprise. Initially focused on sheep and cattle, they diversified their operations in 2010 into the poultry sector, specifically with laying hens and expanded this in 2015. Their current emphasis is ensuring the efficiency of all activities, which has increased the need for infrastructure to support their growing farm operations.
With the expansion of the farm and the increase in equipment and machinery, Richard identified a critical need for an additional and versatile storage space. They required a robust, multi-purpose building to accommodate their growing operational demands while integrating with their existing farm layout.
A new agricultural storage shed was designed and constructed to meet Richard’s specific needs. The key features of the building are:
- Dimensions: 100ft (length) x 60ft (width) x 16ft (eaves height)
- Design Feature: A 10ft cantilever is included to provide additional covered external space
- Purpose: Secure storage for feed, equipment, machinery, and other essential farming supplies
- Construction: Steel-framed structure for durability and low maintenance
- Integration: Positioned strategically for ease of access from livestock and poultry areas
